Columbia Art League Projects

During her tenure as the Education and Outreach Director for the Columbia Art League, Sandbothe spearheaded a wide variety of projects. She called upon her multi-hyphenate background to create and execute lesson plans, lead gallery tours, and craft large installations for display in downtown Columbia, Missouri, and at the Art in the Park art festival. Partnering with local non-profits who provide after-school programming for children was a core focus in her work at the Art League, bringing the arts to every corner of the city. Additionally, Mary served as Installation Coordinator and Sustainability Coordinator for Art in the Park, coordinating all art installations while also building infrastructure for a waste-free, sustainable future for the long-running Columbia, Missouri festival.
